Blow Fill Seal (BFS) technology is versatile and widely used for packaging various articles, including pharmaceuticals (sterile liquids, eye drops), personal care items (lotion, creams), food and beverages, nutraceuticals, industrial and household. BFS ensures your contents integrity, customization, extended shelf life and airtight seals for enhanced safety.

Molding: The process commences with the extrusion of a plastic resin, typically high-density polyethylene (HDPE) or polypropylene (PP), which forms a hollow tube called a parison. This parison is then transferred to the blow molding section of the machine.

Formation / Blowing: The parison is clamped between two mold halves, and compressed air is introduced, causing the plastic to expand and conform to the shape of the mold cavity. This results in the creation of a seamless, customized container with precise dimensions.

Filling:  Once the container is formed, it is transported to the filling station. Here, the desired product, whether liquid, semi-solid, or pharmaceuticals, is precisely dispensed into the container. This step ensures minimal exposure to external contaminants and maintains product integrity.

Sealing: Following the filling process, the container moves to the sealing station. Using a heated die-head, the neck of the container is melted and fused, creating a hermetic seal. This airtight seal acts as a protective barrier, guarding the product against spoilage, oxidation, and tampering, thereby extending shelf life and ensuring consumer safety.

Product Integrity: Blow Fill Seal technology guarantees the highest level of product integrity due to its closed-system process. The hermetic seal formed during the sealing step prevents contamination, ensuring the maintenance of product quality and longer shelf life.
